Polaris Wealth Advisers, Greystone Financial Group Combine

Polaris Greystone Financial Group, an investment advisory firm with nearly $1 billion in client assets under management, has been created through the merger of Polaris Wealth Advisers and Greystone Financial Group. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Polaris Greystone has offices in the San Francisco, Southern California, Houston and Detroit metropolitan areas.

The firm has two divisions: Polaris Greystone Wealth Management provides financial planning and investment management for high net worth families, while Polaris Greystone Retirement Services offers retirement plan solutions and services to plan sponsors and participants within their plans.

Jeffrey Powell, founder of Polaris, will serve as CEO, managing partner and chief investment officer of the combined firm. Todd Moss, co-founder of Greystone, is president and senior partner of PGFG and will help manage the firm's day-to-day operations.
